Lucen Track

Microsoft-native time tracking for project budgets and billable hours.

Lucen Track, formerly Timeneye, is a time tracking tool built around the Microsoft ecosystem. It comes from the same company as Lucen Timeline, but it is a separate product with its own plans.

Instead of asking people to log hours in yet another place, it brings tracking into the tools teams already use: time can be logged against tasks in Microsoft Planner and Azure DevOps, against meetings in Outlook as they happen, and through a native Microsoft Teams app. Hours are split into billable and non-billable time, which feeds into project budgets, margin and utilization insight, and reporting for delivery and client reviews.

For deeper analysis, data can flow into live Power BI dashboards. Higher plans add profitability tracking, approvals, budget controls, and planned vs. actual comparisons.

It suits project-based teams, consultants, and finance or operations leads in organizations that already run on Microsoft 365 and want time data tied to project budgets without switching tools.

At a glance

Who's it for?

It's for project-based teams and consultants working in Microsoft 365 who want time tracking tied to project budgets and billable hours.

Strength

Its native integration with Teams, Outlook, Planner, and Azure DevOps makes it attractive for teams that don't want time tracking to be a separate habit.

Trade-off

Teams outside the Microsoft ecosystem get less from its integrations, and paid plans are capped at 30 users before Enterprise.

When to choose it

A strong option for Microsoft 365 teams that want billable time and project budgets tracked where the work already happens.
