Privacy Policy

At PM Help Tools, we value your privacy and collect as little data as we can. This page explains what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have.

What we collect and why

• Analytics data, only if you accept it. With your consent, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site: pages visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use it only to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Technical server logs. When you load any page, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Tool suggestions. If you use the "Suggest a tool" form, we receive the tool name, website, and the reason you entered. The form doesn't ask for your name or email. The form service also receives technical data such as your IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in reviewing suggestions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message, and use them only to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't create user accounts.

Cookies and your consent

When you first visit the site, we display a consent banner with the options Reject and Accept.

• Reject means analytics cookies are denied and Google Analytics isn't loaded.
• Accept means analytics cookies are enabled and Google Analytics is loaded.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the banner doesn't appear on every page. This saved choice is strictly necessary to respect your decision and doesn't track you.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: Change cookie settings. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect data collected before you withdrew it.

Service providers we use

• Hosting provider — delivers the site and keeps technical server logs.
• Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies. The fonts used on this site are hosted on our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your data to third parties.
• Form service — receives submissions from the "Suggest a tool" form.

These providers process data on our behalf, under their own data processing terms.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, so some data may be transferred there. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can contact us for details about the providers we use.

How long we keep data

• Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google Analytics.
• Server logs are kept for a limited period, as set by our hosting provider.
• Tool suggestions and emails are kept only as long as needed to review them or reply, and no longer than 2 years.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email contact@pmhelptools.com.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or with the authority in your country of residence.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links, and they are marked next to the link. If you click one, you leave our site, and the vendor may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. That is governed by the vendor's privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. Affiliate relationships never affect how we describe or compare tools.
